Chalet Style Cuckoo Clock with Moving Wood Chopper

32cm (12.5″) It’s a hard day’s work for this industrious woodchopper on this Cuckoo Clock. He is working hard in front of his home, which is surrounded by pine trees, a water well, and a bench to rest on. The wood case is divided into a grey wall, with light coloured half-timbered framework look, topped by a walnut stained upper part, with carved hip roof that is also decorated with light-coloured detailed wooden decoration. Miniature windows with green curtains and flower boxes decorate the front of the house. The solid-wood cuckoo calls every half hour with the correct number of calls on the hour and once on the half hour. During the cuckoo call, the woodchopper raises his axe and lets it fall on the log. After the cuckoo calls on the full hour, one of the two alternating melodies plays with the water wheel turning and the figurines turn to the music on the balcony.  This model has an automatic night switch off.
