Description
An industrious woodchopper is shown on this clock with its traditional Black Forest hip roof and bell tower. The wooden case is intricately decorated with filigree natural wood adornments, rounded windows with shutters and flowers, and a depicted stone wall on the wooden facade. The front of the house is lovingly decorated with pine trees, a wood stack with a bird perched on top, a water wheel with a small wooden fence and a wooden bench. The cuckoo opens the door on the hour, and calls out the number of the hour with an echo. Afterwards one of the 12 alternating melodies are played. On the side you will find a switch to turn off the music separately, or both the cuckoo and the music. Through a light sensor the clock is automatically quiet after dark, although the clock keeps running. This clock is run by a quartz battery clockwork that runs on three 1,5V batteries – Size C (not included).
