27cm (10″) This Cuckoo Clock depicts the story “Heidi”, with its shingled hip roof with bell tower. The little orphan-girl Heidi, who lives in the isolated alp cabin with her grandfather, meets the goat shepherd, Peter. The wooden casing is stained in walnut, and the house front is decorated with miniature windows with shutters and curtains. Around the house there are pine trees and a water trough. The solid-wooden cuckoo calls every half hour with the correct time on the hour and once on the half hour. The clockface, numbers and clock hands are all made of wood. This clock has a manual night switch off.
