Chalet Cuckoo Clock with Bavarian Walker and Animals

52cms (20″) This is a beautiful chalet style cuckoo clock with lots of hand carved and hand painted detail. These include a walker in traditional walking clothes with a pair of binoculars around his neck. He raises his stout walking stick held in his right hand as the cuckoo calls the number of hours. There is a family of deer on the right hand side of the clock and 2 small rabbits on the left side. A turkey stands on a tree stump at the front of this clock. The dancing couples rotate as the music plays and the water wheel turns. It has an eight day mechanical, musical movement and a night shut off lever.
