Hand Painted Shield Clock with Battling Couple

A combination of a chalet cuckoo clock and a shield clock, this clock measures 44cms. The chalet part has an angry lady hitting her lazy husband on the head with a rolling pin as the cuckoo calls on the hour. The shield part is hand painted on a square shaped shield. The cuckoo also calls on the half hour. The brass pendulum and weights add interest to this unusual cuckoo clock. It has an 8 day mechanical movement and a night shut off.
